Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NormalMap AI ("the Service"), operated by CrazyTools Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service consists of (a) free in-browser PBR utility tools available at normalmap.ai and (b) AI-powered PBR texture generation features that require an authenticated account and credits. These Terms apply to both.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Credit System & Payments

NormalMap AI's AI generation features operate on a credit system. Free users receive a daily credit allotment. Paid subscribers receive a monthly credit allotment according to their plan. Subscription credits do not roll over between billing periods. One-time top-up credits do not expire. All prices are in USD and processed via Creem, our merchant-of-record payment provider.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all PBR textures and derivative maps (normal, roughness, ambient occlusion, metallic, albedo, and related outputs) generated using NormalMap AI. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display your generated textures within your account dashboard for the purpose of operating the Service. The NormalMap AI brand, trademarks, and software are owned by CrazyTools Studio.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others. The generation of NSFW (Not Safe For Work), sexually explicit, adult, nude, semi-nude, suggestive, or child exploitation material is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You may not attempt to use the Service to bypass content moderation, generate copyrighted material without authorization, or produce material that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

Content moderation. Every AI generation prompt is automatically screened through Creem's content moderation API before it reaches any AI model. Prompts that violate our content policy are rejected and no credits are consumed. We do not support, offer, or permit "uncensored", "unfiltered", or "no-filter" generation under any plan.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. Free in-browser tools remain available regardless of paid feature availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CrazyTools Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
